A 501(c)(3) nonprofit providing transformative scholarships to underrepresented students at the University of South Carolina — building pathways for tomorrow's leaders through an endowment designed to last in perpetuity.
The Zeta Zeta College Endowment Foundation, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization established by the brothers of the Zeta Zeta chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. with one clear mission.
To expand educational access for underrepresented students at the University of South Carolina – Columbia. Through the generosity of our donors and the dedication of our board, ZZCEF has helped over 17 students pursue their dreams of higher education — and we're just getting started.
Our scholars have gone on to achieve remarkable success — graduating with honors from disciplines spanning law, medicine, engineering, and business — proving that when you invest in potential, greatness follows. With over $200,000 in endowed funds, our foundation is built for long-term sustainability and growing impact.
Contributions scale impact over time. Our endowment is designed to grow, not shrink — expanding the reach of every dollar invested.
— ZZCEF Board of DirectorsWith $200,000+ in endowed funds invested and maintained in perpetuity, ZZCEF delivers sustainable, long-term community impact — not just one-time giving.
The endowment principal does not decrease. It is invested and maintained in perpetuity, ensuring the fund grows over time.
Investment returns generate approximately $8,000 each year for scholarships and programming — a sustainable engine for change.
Every contribution scales impact over time. As the endowment grows, so does the annual scholarship funding — forever.
Removing financial barriers to higher education for underrepresented students at the University of South Carolina, expanding access to world-class academic programs.
Building pathways that connect students to mentorship, professional networks, and career opportunities that strengthen entire communities for generations.
Alumni now pursuing Law at Georgetown, Medical School, careers in Finance, Engineering, Journalism — proof that investment in potential creates extraordinary outcomes.
Unlike one-time donations, endowment contributions scale impact over time. A $25,000 corporate sponsorship today doesn't just fund one scholarship — it generates returns that fund scholarships year after year, forever. As our endowment grows, so does our reach, our programming, and the number of students whose lives we transform.

The ZZCEF scholarship didn't just help me pay for school — it gave me the confidence to dream bigger. Knowing that a community of professionals believed in my potential pushed me to aim for Georgetown Law. I wouldn't be where I am today without this foundation's investment in my future.
Graduating Magna Cum Laude with a double major in Chemistry and Biology was one of the proudest moments of my life. The ZZCEF scholarship allowed me to focus on my studies without the constant stress of finances. Now I'm preparing for medical school with the skills and confidence I built at USC.
Being on the President's and Dean's List while managing tuition was only possible because of ZZCEF. The scholarship wasn't just financial — it connected me to a brotherhood of mentors who showed me what success looks like. This foundation changes trajectories.
